I love blusher. So this weeks #TuesdayTakeover is more than fitting as Catherine from The Beauty Trove is equally obsessed and sharing her top 5 blushers today here on BBA...
Blushers are such a big weakness of mine they're one of my vices and if you read my blog you will know I have a particular fondness for those of the pink variety. So here's a round up of my current top five blushers with a mix of price points, one to suit every budget.
Illamasqua are amongst the most pigmented blushers I own, Tremble is a beautiful warm pink matte blush, with a light hand cheeks are given a beautiful warm pop of colour that lasts.
Probably my favourite blush to date Deep Throat is a warm peachy pink blush with a subtle sheen running throughout, giving cheeks that lit from within look without an ounce of glitter, its not the most pigmented of blushers meaning you can build up to the desired colour you want, a real staple in my make up bag.
A budget blush which suits a multitude of looks, from what looks a little dull in the pan Santa Rose translates into a beautiful dusky pink/coral with slight brown undertones onto cheeks, its the perfect blush to wear with any make up look, its understated so won't compete if you want to go for a bold lip or heavy eye. At only £3.99 its one I think everyone should try.
These blushes look so pretty in the pan and give such a gorgeous glow to the cheeks, Seductive Pink is a soft pink and another drugstore gem, the finely milled powder and pigmentation is enough to rival high end blushers and the fact they are often compared to the highly coveted Hourglass blushers for a fraction of the price makes them even more appealing. The subtle highlighter throughout translates to cheeks beautifully leaving a pretty sheen.
Sleek blushers have pigmentation to rival the high end brands and are a brand that nail it in the blush stakesand this creme to powder formulation is no exception. French Rose is a warm soft pink after a few dots on the apples of your cheeks you're left with a pretty glow that due to the formulation lasts amazingly well.
L-R Sleek, Nars, Illamasqua, Rimmel & Max Factor
