November Beauty Favourites

November Beauty Favourites
During the month of November, I discovered a love for burgers, well Five Guys to be precise - see my Twitter media feed for evidence. I also laughed so hard I cried during The Book of Mormon and attended the 2015 Cosmopolitan Blog Awards! But burgers aside, I have a few beauty favourites to share with you today...

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara £7.99
I've never been a fan of Maybelline mascaras or fibre wands for that matter, so when Maybelline released Lash Sensational, which has resemblance to two of my all time favourite mascaras; SEVENTEEN's Doll'd Up Mascara & Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara, I had to give it a try. And boy, I wasn't disappointed. Lash Sensational adds both length and volume to my lashes, wears well throughout the day, holds a curl and is intensely pigmented. It can on occasion be a little stubborn to remove, but besides that, I have no complaints. Go buy it.

Cosmopolitan The Fragrance £48*
I wasn't sure if I'd like Cosmopolitans debut perfume, but I can confirm it smells pretty darn nice! The fun, yet sexy scent includes notes of pineapple, saffron, jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla and musk and has an art deco Gatsbyesque pink and orange cut glass design. Cosmopolitan The Fragrance has a likeness to the Escada perfume range in both its packaging and scent and has become my go-to perfume pick over the last two months.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge £5.99
The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge has transformed my makeup routine. The orange beauty blender delivers an air brushed even finish, that's not achievable with any brush. The sponge is either to work with, with rounded sides, a precision tip and flat edge and is easy to clean with a bar of simple soap. I haven't used a foundation brush since and don't intend to anytime soon.

Clarisonic SMART Profile £199*
Since my original review, my love for the Clarisonic SMART Profile cleansing device has grown ever more. Incorporated into my skincare routine on a regular basis, this cleansing device has seen a huge improvement in my skin texture, breakouts and overall appearance. I still can't quite get over the difference between my previous cleansing device and this model. It's outstanding. Yes, it's a skincare investment. But a beauty gadget I recommend you add to your Christmas wish list.

MAC Eyeshadows in 'Brule' & 'Wedge' £10 per pan
Although I'm usually a shimmer gal, two matte eyeshadows have made a regular appearance on my eyelids during the last month or so. MAC's 'Brule' & 'Wedge' make the perfect duo. 'Brule' is a soft warm cream with beige undertones and works well worn all over the lid paired with 'Wedge' a warm medium toned brown in the crease. A classic contouring pair, that works well with a feline flick.
