MAC Cosmetics Haul: Reviews & Swatches
MAC Brush Cleanser/ MAC Paint Pot In Painterly/  Mac Blusher In Well Dressed/ MAC Vanilla Pigment/ MAC Pan Eyeshadows In Patina & Sketch

I had been lusting after these products from MAC for what felt like a long time and a month or so ago I had the sudden urge to buy them all... I don’t know what came over me... I blame the internet and its ease of online shopping - but hay, its okay to treat yourself once in a while! I originally had more in my basket, but I needed to be sensible and lets be honest, its not hard to spend over £100 on MAC cosmetics! On the plus side, delivery is free on all orders over £30 - justified. Anyhow, lets see what I bought.
Since buying this brush cleanser, it has most defiantly become my go to. It is effective and easy to use in comparison to other brush cleansers I have tried. On the MAC website the description of this product says, 'this one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibres so that brushes will last longer.’ - agreed. I use this cleanser by grabbing a piece of kitchen towel and pouring a little of the cleanser onto the towel (a spray top would be beneficial) and I then run my brushes back and forth onto the towel until clean and within a couple of minutes they will be ready to use again. If you are looking for a quick & easy clean for your makeup brushes this is worth picking up.

Now these two pans weren’t bought online, but by my friend Georgia who picked them up for me when she was in NYC over the new year (lucky girl!), so thank you G! I bought Patina which in all honesty looks so dull in the pan, but is actually a beautiful muted golden brown with a frost finish. It looks so pretty washed all over the lid and is perfect for everyday wear. It is possibly a new favourite of mine and also looks lovely with another shadow blended into the crease. Sketch, is a burgundy  shade with a strong plummy undertone. It has a satin finish and is the perfect addition to my palette for a smoky eye and is also a great alternative to pencil liner. If you want to read more about my MAC palette click here. I would also greatly appreciate any MAC eyeshadow suggestions, as I have just one more space left to fill! Exciting!

This is the only blusher I own from MAC and being a huge lover of blushers I was very excited to give this one a go. Well Dressed is a light blue based pink (the colour reminds me of bubblegum!). The blusher itself is very finely milled and gives a soft silky sheen to the cheeks. The colour is buildable and has reasonably good colour payoff (not as intense as I thought it would be however). Im not sure if this shade would be suitable for those with a darker complexion - this is defiantly one for those with a paler complexion. However, it does lasts a good 5 hours and reminds me a little of my much loved Dior Rosy Glow Blush, which gives a lovely glowy natural finish. It’s perfect for those no makeup makeup days and the perfect blusher to accompany a smoky eye.

This pigment is absolutely GORGEOUS and out of all the products in this haul this is the product, that if you don’t own - you should! I bought the shade vanilla, which is the most beautiful white gold shade and has a frost finish. It is such a versatile colour and can be used as a subtle swash all over the lid or built up for an intense finish. This product is simply a highly concentrated loose powder (pigment), which can be used to highlight on the brow bone, on the cupids bow, the inner corners of the eyes and on the cheek bones and you can even mix it with your foundation, mix it with nail polish and you can even put a little on the center of your lips, after apply lippy to give the appearance of fuller lips - WOW! As we all know, I love a good multi purpose product! I like to apply this product by taking a fluffy brush and patting it onto the plastic stopper (which I have not pictured here annoyingly!) as it picks up the right amount of product, rather than popping my brush straight into the pot. The pigment applies so smoothly and leaves very little if any fall out when applied! It is very long lasting, can be used wet or dry, doesn’t crease and looks lovely with every shadow I own! I can’t get enough of this product! It is worth all the hype without a doubt! I LOVE it!

I had read so many rave reviews on this product and knew I had to try it for myself and Im so glad that I did! This cream eyeshadow from MAC in painterly, is the perfect nude beige, it applies creamy and dries to a matte finish and I love it! It's the perfect canvas for eyeshadow, it covers any discolouration or redness, as well as any visible veins. Most importantly, I love the way it enhances my eyeshadow colours, showing the true colour in the pan on my eyelids. The product is highly pigmented, blends smoothly and dries quickly. Not only that, it lasts all day and doesn’t crease if you use the right amount. It has quickly become my favourite eyeshadow primer.
