Makeup Geek Eyeshadows | Review & Swatches
If you hadn't already heard Makeup Geek now has an online UK stockist - hallelujah! It's safe to say that Makeup Geek has had a serious buzz amongst the beauty community and it's for good reason; Makeup Geek eyeshadows are a serious contender for MAC eyeshadows and are just half the price.

So what do you need to know about Makeup Geek (MUG)? Founded by Marlena, YouTuber turned businesswoman extraordinar, MUG sell high quality makeup at affordable prices. MUG eyeshadows in particular are renowned for their near perfect formulation and are highly sought after in the beauty community. So after a long wait (due to being sold out on multiple occasions), I purchased 9 MUG eyeshadows, which are housed in my Z Palette. Overall, these eyeshadows are b-e-a-u-tiful. They're highly pigmented, buidable, buttery, blendable, long lasting, smooth, apply evenly and have little to no fallout - talk about luxurious. And are priced from just £4.95 - £7.95! But it can't all be good right? Well, a few of the shades do have a notable dryer texture, but this doesn't impact on quality. I do always recommend wearing a primer with eyeshadows, but I especially recommend wearing primer with the MUG foiled eyeshadows to prevent creasing. But having said that, MUG foiled eyeshadows are incredible, a.k.a my favourite foiled eyeshadow formula of all time (yes really!). The foiled eyeshadows mimic tinfoil down to a T. They're intense, extremely creamy, pigmented, have no fallout and wear for hours without fading when worn with a primer. And like most foiled eyeshadows they apply best with either a synthetic brush or your fingertips.
